Did you know?

In the mid-1970s, Colbert residents worked together to fund and build the 21 acre Colbert Community Park. The park’s two baseball fields, practice space, and picnic area have witnessed many games, wins, and memories made for generations by local players and their families over the past five decades.

What if our park could do more?

What if the park could have space for other sports and activities as well? It will! The Red Canna Park Committee, with the approval and support of the Colbert City Council, is working to update and expand the park’s offerings while preserving much of the park’s original features and history.

The planned addition of multi-use fields and courts, creative play and discovery areas, walking/jogging and bike trails, a skatepark, picnic pavilions, a dog park and more will provide space for a variety of sports and activities right in the heart of Colbert!

Red Canna Park Needs Your Help!

Red Canna Park Needs Your Help!

The City of Colbert has provided funding to get the ball rolling, but it is up to us as a community to come together once again and make the park a space that can be enjoyed by all.

You can help the park committee make this updated space a reality by spreading the word, donating to the park fund, and participating in fundraisers sponsored by the Red Canna Park Committee.
